How To Clean Your Skin Of Makeup And Impurities

You don’t need to buy all those expensive makeup removal products. By combining the proper ingredients, you can start making your own skin cleanser.

There are also natural products which you can use on their own, such as coconut oil or olive oil.

A great skin cleanser that can be used on its own is baking soda. It deep-cleans and leaves the skin smooth. It also gets rid of the dead skin cells on your face.

How to use baking soda to deep clean the skin?

Start by washing your face with warm water. This will soak the dead skin cells and help the baking soda stick to it so you can gently rub.

Gently rub the skin all over with the baking soda, and be careful not to get any of it in your eyes.

After thoroughly cleaning your face, it’s time to get rid of the eye makeup. Take a makeup removing disk and put a few drops of coconut oil, olive oil or almond oil and gently wipe the makeup off.

You can use the oil all over your face to moisturize it. Massage the oil in for a few minutes and then wipe the excess off with a soft towel. It’s better to just wipe it off than rinsing it, because it is good for your skin and will keep it soft throughout the day.

You can also use jojoba oil or coconut butter, Shea butter or alcohol-free witch hazel, which is a great natural skin toner, cleanser and makeup remover, all together.

As for a few mixtures that will get the makeup off and also nurture the skin, here are a few worth trying:

  • water, vitamin E capsules and extra virgin olive oil;
  • almond and olive oil;
  • coconut milk and olive oil;
  • plain water and cream soap of your choice.
